At the tender age of 5, Michael Shuttleworth a.k.a. The Hammer picked up the
guitar and has not put it down since.  Originally from Nazareth, PA Shuttleworth
later moved to Wisconsin and grew up in the city of Tomah, WI.  Shuttleworth
started a band called Risk in high school friends Rick Eagen and Scott Wilcox.
He later carried the band name with him to bass guitarist Kevin Woodhouse
drummer John Janzen to record the college radio hit that you hear You Were The
World To Me with B side track Wasted Time.  After several years of struggling as
an original artist, Allen joined a band call Stormfront whom he appeared with at
his first National Show at the 1999 Rockfest in Cadott, WI  with Peter Frampton,
Joe Walsh, Journey, and Foreigner.  Since then Allen has played many National
Shows and opened for many of his rock heroes.

Eventually Shuttleworth was called for a fill-in gig as a lead guitarist and back up
singer with the 715 band.  Formed with Mike Pfeilsticker, Anthony  "Tone"
Robarge, and Johnny  "T-Bone" Stanton the band was a huge success often
playing six nights in a row.  T-Bone left the band in 2004 and Brandon Onstad
joined 715.  Crazy stage antics, humor, ripping guitar solos, and not seen before
band chemistry made Allen also known as "Hammer" a face remembered by
fans and musicians.    715 released the single I'm Not Alright at the 2002 Rock
Fest in Cadott.  715 continued to play over 150 shows a year for five years.   Tour
dates included back to back county fairs, festivals and club dates until Allen left
the band in 2005 and started Divided Highway.
